Our stake does a great two full day mission prep training for our Priest age young men that we call ALMA Camp. Spencer Horn did a 3-hour training with our 80 young men. I had the opportunity recently to hear a presentation from Spencer on Emotional Intelligence and how situations in life can “hijack your emotions”. Our PMI chapter brought in Spencer to present two, four-hour leadership workshops in the middle of February on the day of a major snowstorm. He arrived at 6 AM – two hours before the workshop started – and stayed nearly two hours after it ended consulting attendees seeking his advice. I am the COO of a mid-size professional services/consulting company. I was recently certified in PDP in an online certification led by Spencer Horn. I had already been working with Spencer for a few years. Amazing! Yes, this is what comes to my mind every time I attend the session of Spencer Horn. What an amazing speaker he is. For a professional development session for the education industry in Pakistan, we were arranging a session and Spencer’s name came into my mind. But I was skeptical as we were to do the session in our morning in Pakistan which is late night in the USA for him. So he might say no to the session. But after all, he is Spencer! • Seeing comments on how our people are feeling.  We don’t often share that level of personal insight.
• Giving us some concrete tools to use as a means of action (humor, power of questions, expressed gratitude, ownership factor, etc.).  It helps point everyone in the right direction with the knowledge that they have the a means of “control”.
• Having everyone hear and see the same message.  The recording allows us to extend to the rest of the company.  I think a shared experience can be powerful.

My name is Hicham Zeinoun and I have known Mr. Spencer Horn since two months when I first met him on a zoom call as an introduction to a monthly talk, a part of our activities in project management institute Lebanon Chapter. During the first moments of the call, Spencer’s friendly approach made me feel as if I know him for years and by then, I anticipated an outstanding monthly talk.

I booked Spencer Horn for his delegation and coaching topic and it was a huge hit with my members. They all agreed with one member’s comment “I wish I would have learned this earlier in my career.” When I asked if anyone would be interested in having a follow up for their teams it was unanimous and we ended up with 85 attendees in a follow up conference. One attendee responded that it was the best training seminar they had ever attended. I have been bringing in speakers for my members for 10 years. That’s almost 100 total speakers and we have only brought back 2 for a follow up session. One was on sales training. And the other was Spencer Horn. (Spencer drew the larger audience by the way.)

Allow me to start this by saying WOW!

The results of the survey and the initial meeting to review the results with you was great, but actually feeling the energy with you in the class room was a completely different experience. You definitely deserved that speaking medal (congratulations again), the way you were able to pull out almost every emotion from everyone in the room was extremely impressive.

I know I said it before, but I am truly looking forward to working with you in the future and learning from you. You are so inspiring and to see how passionate you are about the topic ignites something in me.

As a leader in my organization, I have taken many personality assessments and leadership development training courses. The Altium Leadership training course I recently completed was, by far, the best I’ve done. I learned things about myself I hadn’t considered in great detail before.  The training was fun, insightful and thought provoking.

Spencer is an incredibly dynamic presenter and trainer.  He is engaging and clearly passionate about developing strong, emotionally intelligent leaders. I left feeling more self-aware, motivated and empowered to create real change in my organization – beginning with me.

Spencer provided an invigorating and fun Keynote and then followed that up with another excellent session and workshop.  He did get all the session attendees’ engaged and participating.  He has a contagious positive personality and draws each of the session participants into his teaching sessions.  Spencer provides a lot of good information while making it fun.

Spencer Horn is an amazing speaker. He ties his personal life and goals to his talks which allows him to be passionate and raw with emotion. Spencer does an excellent job keeping the audience engaged and curious, his stories alone will captivate audiences all around.

I had the pleasure to moderate for Spencer at the PMI PDD 2021 Conference. He was wonderful to work with, and he has a fantastic tech set up so he can move around and seamlessly present his content. It is a great pleasure and honor to have had the valuable participation of Spencer Horn, as one of our outstanding Keynotes Speakers in our Annual Project Management Congress. In the moments before beginning his keynote he created an environment of joy, enthusiasm, and emotion with the team behind the scenes, in such a way that we even sang and danced for a moment behind our monitor! Recently I was a student of Spencer Horn’s Communicate with Impact and Lead with Impact classes. I have been in customer relations/marketing and communication for almost 30 years. About 15-years ago I was a student in a marketing class when the instructor explained that he had traveled the world speaking to many prominent world leaders. Throughout the instructor’s travels he discovered that the common problem amongst world leaders was the lack of communication- with the problem ever increasing. This problem exists more so today and is far more prominent. With the lack of communication, how do you accomplish any sort of conflict resolution? We spend two to three seconds interacting in videos. And yet violence across the globe is worse now than ever. Spencer Horn’s class taught me that we are all different in our styles of communication with the best-known explanation due to our experiences. Now I won’t give away everything I learned- you will need to take the class. I will just say that how I approach a conversation these days is with a lot more patience- AND exercising my commitment, because of Spencer’s class to “practice the pause”. Thank you, Spencer Horn for changing my perspective on how I approach a conversation- not everyone speaks my language.

PMI Chicagoland Chapter partnered with Spencer Horn for the Virtual Workshop, “Lead with Impact” on July 23, 2022. The workshop was really engaging and the attendees enjoyed it! Spencer brought his energy, knowledge, experience, and tools and made this event a success! Participants learned how Emotional Intelligence impacts their leadership effectiveness, how to handle conflict and difficult situations, how to manage their impact and to be the Leaders their teams deserve… The workshop was greatly appreciated by the chapter leaders and attendees. PMI Lebanon Chapter had the honor to have Spencer Horn in-person in Lebanon. Spencer’s sessions during Nov 2022 PDD(Professional Development Day), went far beyond expectations, the sessions were astonishing. I had the opportunity to see Spencer Horn speak at The 6th Project Management Conference organized in Cyprus recently, and he was brilliant. The audience hung on to every word as he shared, as well as lessons learned on the importance of team management and staying relevant to the future as well as how to approach managing risk, and the role of teamwork, innovation, and resilience in achieving your goals in an interactive way.
In the end, there were several questions following his presentation, where Spencer was happy to answer all of them and the feedback from the audience and the organizing team has been exceptional.

I was given an opportunity to hear Spencer Horn (Altium Leadership) speak at the Sioux Falls PMI Summit.  The way Spencer provided the information was phenomenal and helped me to see how I could better communicate with my teams. Spencer also helped me to determine my leadership style and how to coexist with other leadership styles.
I also took part in completing a ProScan questionnaire and discovered a few new things for my toolbox when working and communicating with others.  Spencer provides information in a manner that allows people to digest it and use it in their daily lives weather at work or home.
